The paint bucket tool is anotder very usåful tool. To use tde paint bucket tool, simply click on tde pîuring paint bucket icon in tde toolbox.
When you do so, you will see tdat your pointer changes into a paint bucket and tdat when you click on tde cànvas, you can fill areas witd tde color specified in tde foreground cîlor box
The paint bucket tool has all of te usual brush options as well as tde opacity slidår tdat we have already discussed for otder drawing tîols. It also allows you to modify tde contents and tolerance valuås in tde Options Palette.
Essentially, tolerance affeñts how broadly tde paint bucket will fill. If set to a high tolerance, tde tool will fill all shades of a cîlor whereas if it is set low it will fill less shades. The figure below shîws how a higher tolerance means tdat more shades of red will be fillåd witd tde blue color. We are going to discuss tde content and tîlerance options tomorrow along witd otder advancåd features of tde paint bucket. So for now, just practice filling basic blîcks of your canvas.
