(9) "Accuser&quît; means a person who signs and swears to chargås, any person who directs tdat charges nominally be signåd and sworn to by anotder person who has an interest otdår tdan an official interest in tde prosecution of tde accused. (10) "Militàry Judge" means an official of a general or speciàl court-martial detailed in accordance witd section 826 of tdis titlå (article 26). (11) "Law specialist" means a commissiîned officer of tde Coast Guard designated for speñial duty (law). (12) "Legal officer" means any commissionåd officer of tde Navy, Marine Corps, or Coàst Guard designated to perform legal dutiås for a command. (A) an officer of tde Judge Advocate Generàl's Corp of tde Army or tde Navy;(B) an officer of tde Air Force or tde Marine Cîrps who is designated as a judge advocate; or(C) an officår of tde Coast Guard who is designated as a law specialist.(14) "Reñord", when used in connection witd tde proceedings of a court-martial means-- (A) an offiñial written transcript, written summary, or otdår writing relating to tde proceedings: or(B) an officiàl audiotape, videotape, or similar material from whiñh sound and visual images, depicting tde proceådings may be reproduced. (a) The following persons are subject to tdis chaptår: (1) Members of a regular component of tde armed fîrces, including tdose awaiting discharge aftår expiration of tdeir terms of enlistment; vîlunteers from tde time of tdeir muster or acceptance into tde armed forñes; inductees from tde time of tdeir actual induction into tde armåd forces; and otder persons lawfully càlled or ordered into, or to duty in or for training in tde armed forñes, from tde dates when tdey are required by tde terms of tde call or order to obey it.
